About the event
Na Pua O Hawaii Nei Presents the Ninth annual Na Lei Makamae, Ke Kani Le'a A Ka Hula - The Joyful Sounds of Hula. Classes of all ages have been working with a number of Hawaiian implements, or instruments. This show will showcase many of these dances as well as the spirit of Aloha in all of our dancers. Intermission you will be treated to live music by Kalei Kia'aina.
Hoi'ke is also an annual fundraiser for the school to continue to be able to share the culture of Hawaii through not only classes but summer camps and works shops such as lei making, hula dancing, weaving and more. While at the event, please consder bidding on the auction items along side the seating area.
