This Ho'ike will be a celebration of Hawaiin Royaltry througout the years. Dancers of all ages have been working this school year on numbers telling the stories of the beloved Kings and Queens of Hawaii. The show will begin with traditional Hula, called Kahiko, danced to chants performed by our Kumu (teacher) and Aritsitc Director, Kumu Hula Akiko Colton. Following will be more modern Hula, called Auana, performed to both recorde and live Hawaiian Music. Experience the islands and the spirit of Aloha as you join our Halau for this annual show and celebration of the art of Hula.
