Papa Lehua/Intermediate-Advanced Women

Tuesday 7:00-9:00 PM
Dancers in this class are required to have higher hula skills. Dancers are expected to be able to learn at a fast pace and dance in unison. Kumu's recommendation is required to register for this class. Age 18 and up.

Papa Pikake/Gracious Ladies

Thursday 6:45-8:15 PM
This class is for women with some hula experience. The dancers are expected to know the basic steps and knowledge. Those who are age 55 and up have opportunities to dance in hula competitions in both the US Mainland and Hawaii.

Papa Mokihana/Beginning Ladies

Wednesday 6:45-7:45 PM
This is an introductory class for those who have little or no hula experience. This class teaches basic knowledge of hula, such as steps, hand motions, and chanting. Age 12+
Tuition : $40/month

Papa Kukui/Men

Tuesday 5:45-6:45 PM
This class is open for all men age 12 and up regardless of prior hula experience. Dancers will learn and dance the powerful and strong male style of hula.
Tuition : $30/month

Papa Laua'e/Intermediate Middle & High School Girls

Monday 7:10-8:15 PM
This class is for girls in 6th to 12th grades who know basic hula steps and motions. Advanced dancers occasionally perform locally and have the opportunity to compete in hula competitions.
Tuition : $40/month

Papa Awapuhi/Intermediate-Advanced Girls

Monday 5:30-6:30 PM
Thursday 5:30-6:30 PM
This class is for girls age 5-10. The girls learn more advanced hula. The dancers are required to be able to focus and pay good attention to the lessons. Advanced dancers have the opportunity to perform locally and to compete in hula competitions. Intermediate dancers may be asked to do so as well depending on skill level. Kumu's recommendation is required to register for this class.

Papa Lokelani/Beginning Girls

Wednesday 5:40-6:30 PM
This class is for girls age 7 to 10. The girls learn the basic steps and hand motions of hula through Hawaiian chants and songs.

Papa Lā'ī/Beginning-Intermediate Boys

Tuesday 5:00 -6:00 PM
This class is for boys age 5 to 11. The boys learn the basic steps and hand motions of hula through Hawaiian chants and songs.
Tuition : $30/month

Papa Liko/Preschool Boys & Girls

Wednesday 11:00-11:45 AM
8 classes in a session. Children age 3 to 5 will be introduced to basic Hawaiian language, along with some hula motions and beats. Maximum class size:6
